Bright hand-painted yellow cafe curtains tie all the windows together for Treats Bakery in Wiscassett. The Treats building is very old and painted a shabby grey with windows of different sizes and two entrances which sometimes confused the customers. I wanted to make the storefront standout, and visually cohesive so it was clear where the cafe began and ended, and where the entrance was. I added text for store hours and a cheerful welcome sign as well as illustrations in each window indicating what you may find inside.
