Jessie Tobias needed a window painting to compliment all the beautiful Maine-made objects in her shop and to celebrate the local artist Anneli Skaar for whom a reception was being given mid-May. Using Anneli’s pen & ink drawings of whales and squids as inspiration I created a flowing wave of sea foam to float across the tops off all the shop windows.
